League of Legends theory? What's that, you may ask.
I believe League of Legends gameplay can be broken into two basic building blocks. One is theory. Theory tells you how to do things and why you do things in order to win (aka game knowledge or game sense). The other is mechanics. Mechanics is the act of doing and how well you can control your champion. An example of League theory is knowing that you can flash Malphite's Unstoppable Force in order to prevent it from hitting you. The mechanics counterpart to this would be actually flashing the Malphite ultimate in time.
This distinction is important because this website will be focusing more heavily on teaching League of Legends theory rather than mechanics. Don't get me wrong, we'll have articles on mechanics too, they just won't be as frequent.
These articles are going to be mostly theory because I believe theory wins you more games than mechanics does. It is true that you cannot win with just theory or just mechanics; you need both. However, it is theory that is going to help you get to that next division or tier you are aiming for, not mechanics.
Yes, I am telling you that learning theory will win you games. Multiple games. This is not an opinion. Point and case: I myself am considered to be a mechanically weak player compared to the other people in Challenger, and yet I am still able win consistantly.
Theory wins me games, and theory will win you games too. I am about to teach you everything I know about League of Legends, so what are you waiting for? Go get that new division, tier, girlfriend, waifu, whatever. I am here to help.
